Recipe of the Week: Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding

With more omega-3 than salmon, chia seeds are a superfood. Combine them with raw cacao powder which is chock full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and you have one guilt free dessert!


  • One and a half cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup raw cacao powder
  • Two to five tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


Add all ingredients except sweetener to a mixing bowl and whisk vigorously to combine. Sweeten to taste with maple syrup. Let rest covered in the fridge overnight or at least 3-5 hours (or until it's achieved a pudding-like consistency).

Serve chilled with desired toppings, such as fruit, granola, cacao nibs, nuts or coconut whipped cream.
