Rook Coffee is hosting the second annual Rook Run, a 5K race that raises money for The Valerie Fund, helping children with cancer and blood disorders. The race is in Long Branch on Sunday, October 11.
To support this cause, HIT Training started a team and we hope you can join us! Whether this would be your first or 100th race, the Rook Run is a perfect opportunity to challenge yourself and help raise money for children in need.
The Valerie Fund provides comprehensive healthcare to children with cancer and blood disorders right here in New Jersey at Monmouth Medical Center, just down the road from where the run actually takes place. All members (and non-members) are welcome to join our team. Tell your friends.
Our team is one of many vying to be the top fundraiser. Your participation will make this a reality. Help us out by joining our team. If you cannot attend the Rook Run and would like to make a donation, click here and choose HIT Training.
All race registration money and donations go directly to the Valerie Fund.
So put your training to work and support a great cause. Join us on October 11.
As an added incentive, if you sign up before August 27, HIT Training will provide a specially-designed t-shirt that can be worn on race day. A t-shirt will be provided to any person who registers under the HIT Training team and/or donates at least $35 on or before August 27.
Thank you for your support.
